The Annual Day of Presentation Convent Higher Seco The Annual Day of Presentation Convent Higher Secondary School was held on 21st November 2025. The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Mrs. Sylvia Fernandes, Deputy Director of Education, South Educational Zone. The students presented a variety of cultural programmes, including dances, skits, and songs commemorating ten glorious years since the inception of the institution.

The farewell ceremony for our XII standard student The farewell ceremony for our XII standard students, held on 22nd December 2025, was a beautiful mix of laughter, tears and celebration. Organized by the XI standard students and teachers, the morning was filled with energetic dances, a hilarious skit, soulful songs, a touching monologue, spot prizes and a nostalgic memory video.

Seeyan Shaikh was crowned Master Presentation and Megan Furtado as Miss Presentation of the School. The event concluded with a rocking jam session, leaving behind unforgettable memories and heartfelt goodbyes.
The Alumni Meet 2025 was a grand success with over The Alumni Meet 2025 was a grand success with over 60 alumni from batches 2017–2025 coming together on 19th December 2025. Organized by the school and the Alumni Association, the event marked 10 years of excellence of Presentation Higher Secondary School and the launch of PRESA – Presentation Ex-Student Association.

The evening featured a prayer dance, batch-wise parade, games, spot prizes, inspiring addresses by our Principal and the election of the PRESA Executive Committee. The meet concluded with joyful reunions, heartfelt gratitude and a lively jam session leaving everyone with cherished memories and a renewed bond with their alma mater.
The Farewell Mass for the XII Science and Arts stu The Farewell Mass for the XII Science and Arts students was held on 16th December 2025 in the school auditorium, centered on the theme “Journey to Tomorrow through Hope.” 

The Eucharist, celebrated by Fr. Jimmy Mendes, inspired students to embrace hope, perseverance, and courage through a touching real-life story. The Mass concluded with blessings from the teachers and Fr. Jimmy, as the students were sent forth with prayers and hope for their future.

The students of Class XI Arts A organised a vibran The students of Class XI Arts A organised a vibrant Class Canteen on 1st December, offering a variety of mouth-watering food items and an array of refreshing drinks to quench everyone’s thirst. The event was smoothly coordinated by Tr. Royency.
A thrilling “Clash of Titans” football tournam A thrilling “Clash of Titans” football tournament was held between the Class XI and Class XII students on the occasion of the feast of the patroness of the Blue House, Bl. Mother Clara. After an exciting match, the Class XI team emerged as the champions of the tournament.
The Market Day at PCHSS was held on 29th November The Market Day at PCHSS was held on 29th November 2025, where the Economics students of Class XII showcased their entrepreneurial skills by selling products they had created. The stalls featured handcrafts, food and drinks, sweets and much more. The entire event was monitored and coordinated by the Economics teacher, Ms. Royency Afonso.
A science exhibition titled SCIQUEST was held at t A science exhibition titled SCIQUEST was held at the school on 29 November 2025, where students showcased innovative exhibits in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. The exhibition was attended by teachers from the school and higher secondary sections, as well as students from both sections. The event was successfully coordinated by the teachers in charge: Ms. Rajashree Thakur, Ms. Amita Mandrekar, and Ms. Annelinda Dias.
The students of Class XI Arts B presented a vibran The students of Class XI Arts B presented a vibrant showcase on the theme “Joy of Giving”. Through a combination of skit, dance and singing, they creatively highlighted the essence of generosity and kindness. The performance was thoughtfully guided and mentored by their class teacher, Ms. Resha Colaco.
A beach marathon was organized for students of Pre A beach marathon was organized for students of Presentation Convent Higher Secondary School Fatorda at Benaulim beach on 15th October 2025 to promote fitness and a healthy lifestyle.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from 40 students, along with several faculty members and staff. The race was flagged off at 7:30 a.m. by the chief guest Captain Venzy Viegas (MLA of Benaulim Constituency) and the school principal Sister Sahaya Rani. 

The challenging course, marked by the uneven sand, was enjoyed by all participants. The marathon included a 5km run for students. Water stations and medical aid were available along the route to ensure the safety and well-being of all runners. The team of Dristhi (life guard) and Goa Police also offered the required support. The event was attended by many spectators who cheered for the participants, creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. 

An award ceremony was held after the race to honor the winners and celebrate the participants' efforts. Winners received medals and certificates. The chief guest, congratulated all participants and emphasized the importance of physical activity for overall development. 

Overall, the beach marathon was a grand success, instilling the values of health, resilience, and sportsmanship among the students. The beach marathon ended at 9:45a.m.
A Children Palliative Care session was conducted f A Children Palliative Care session was conducted for the students of Presentation Higher Secondary School on 15th October at 9 am in the school audithorium. Following was the Resource Team:

- Braven Barreto (Pediatric Physiotherapist)

The team conducted a session to educate students about children palliative care, covering its importance, benefits, and how it improves the quality of life for children with life-limiting illnesses. 

The session included interactive discussions and real-life examples, helping students understand the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of palliative care.
A special class showcase on the theme “Healthy B A special class showcase on the theme “Healthy Body, Healthy Mind” was organized by Class XI Arts A on 10th October 2025 in the school auditorium. The event, held from 10:30 am to 11:05 am, aimed to highlight the connection between physical and mental well-being.

The program began with a welcome address, followed by a series of informative and interactive activities. Students presented comedy skits, Zumba and classical dances, songs, instrumental performances, artwork displays a class website featuring healthy recipes, an e-pamphlet on guided meditation and a class dance reinforcing the theme.

To promote healthy eating, students prepared a simple salad and ragi pudding, which were served to the staff. Their enthusiasm and active participation made the event a resounding success.

The showcase effectively conveyed the importance of maintaining physical health for a positive and alert mind. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by class teacher Tr. Royency Afonso leaving students motivated to adopt healthier habits.
In the words of St. Francis of Assisi, "Man is not In the words of St. Francis of Assisi, "Man is not above nature, but in nature." To honour this man and his profound love and respect for nature, the feast of St Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of the green house, was celebrated in a artistic manner on 11th October 2025, where the students participated in a "Wall Painting Competition". 

The participants included five students from each house. They were to showcase their creativity on a blank canvas, which was a white wall, where they could portray any theme relating to safeguarding nature. The outcomes that were seen were splendid, and the same point of view was shared by our esteemed judges - Tr Angela Fernandes, our primary teacher and Ms. Sherlyn Pinto, our very own ex-student - both celebrated artists themselves. 

The Green House was declared as the winner, followed by the red house at the second position. The Blue house 3rd place and yellow 4th place respectively. 

The competition was organised and well coordinated by the teachers in charge of the green house.

Children's Day at Presentation Convent Higher Seco Children's Day at Presentation Convent Higher Secondary School was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm.

The theme for this year's celebration, "Grand Carnival of Childhood," allowed students to relive the carefree moments of their early years. 

The program began with a prayer service led by TICCAS followed by a series of engaging events. On-the-spot prizes and fun games kept everyone excited. 

The students thoroughly enjoyed the celebration, making it a memorable occasion for all.

The programme was hosted by Tr. Bluma Fernandes, Tr. Florina Fernandes and Sir Delan Cardoso.
