History comes alive at PCHSS! ✨ Our students t History comes alive at PCHSS! ✨ Our students take you on A voyage through time with “Goa: Where Heritage Meets Horizon” - showcasing the culture, heritage & stories of Pre-Portuguese and Portuguese Goa. We were honoured to have Rev. Fr. Victor Ferrao as our Chief Guest. Fr. Victor is a renowned philosopher, author, and former Principal of Rachol Seminary, known for his deep insights on Goan culture, interfaith dialogue, and social thought.

Presentation Convent HSS, Fatorda celebrated Sao J Presentation Convent HSS, Fatorda celebrated Sao Joao with great enthusiasm, honouring the feast of St. John the Baptist and Goa's rich cultural heritage. The day featured exciting inter-house competitions, vibrant performances, creative displays and concluded with a lively jam session that brought everyone together in celebration.
Presentation Convent HSS, Fatorda celebrated Inter Presentation Convent HSS, Fatorda celebrated International Yoga Day on the theme "Yoga for Self and Society." Students, teachers and staff enthusiastically participated in yoga sessions, practising asanas, pranayama, and meditation to promote physical, mental and emotional well-being.
The academic year began on a prayerful note with t The academic year began on a prayerful note with the Inaugural Mass celebrated on the theme, "Learning with Love, Leading with Excellence." The main celebrant, Fr. Velenson Gomes, encouraged students to do everything with love, as it is the path to true excellence. Following the Mass, our Principal, Sr. Sahaya Rani, was felicitated with a potted plant on her appointment as the Manager of the institution.
The new academic year began with a school assembly The new academic year began with a school assembly conducted by the High School teachers, during which our Principal, Sr. Sahaya Rani was introduced as the new Manager of the school by High School Headmistress, Sr. Joaquina Faleiro. An orientation programme for Class XI Science and Arts students followed in the school auditorium, where Principal Sr. Sahaya Rani welcomed the students and highlighted the importance of discipline, responsibility and the school rules.

A field trip to the National Institute of Oceanogr A field trip to the National Institute of Oceanography (NIO), Goa, was organized by Presentation Convent Higher Secondary School for students of 11 Science on 25-3-26. The visit included an orientation session where a scientist introduced NIO and its research areas. This was followed by a visit where students observed instruments and experiments related to marine biology and ocean studies. They also visited an exhibition showcasing marine specimens, models, and charts. After the visit, the students proceeded to the Science Centre, Dona Paula, Goa. The visit was informative and helped students understand ocean science, marine ecosystems, and the importance of conservation in a practical way.
On 25 March 2026, students from 11th Arts A and B On 25 March 2026, students from 11th Arts A and B of Presentation Convent Higher Secondary School, Fatorda, along with teachers, went on a field trip to Tato Kulagar. The trip was an enriching experience, offering insights into Goan culture, food, and sustainable farming. Students enjoyed a spice plantation tour, explored ancient seminary ruins, and learned about biogas and solar energy. They also prepared traditional sweets like dhonne and visited a prawn hatchery to understand prawn farming. The day ended with a delicious Goan lunch, making the trip both educational and enjoyable.

Our student Sanika Pednekar from XII Arts particip Our student Sanika Pednekar from XII Arts participated at state level Athletic Meet on 24th & 25th March 2026 at Peddem Sports Complex, She Secured 1st place in Discus throw and 3rd place in Javelin Throw.

On 23rd of March we celebrated the birthday of our On 23rd of March we celebrated the birthday of our Dear Principal Sr. Sahaya Rani. The celebration began invoking God’s abundant blessing upon her and being grateful to God for the gift of life. The prayer service was followed by cutting of the cake and presenting of the gifts by our teaching and non-teaching representative of Higher Secondary and High School representative of all the respective classes and the PRESA representative Mr. Aayan Rikarty. The celebration was filled with joy, gratitude, and togetherness. It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to express their love, respect, and appreciation for our dear Principal, Sr. Sahaya Rani. The occasion created happy memories and strengthened the bond within the school community.

Students and staff of Presentation Convent Higher Students and staff of Presentation Convent Higher Secondary School came together, filling the school with a sense of community and spirituality to celebrate St. Patrick's Feast on 17th March with a small prayer service where Father also blessed the statue of St. Patrick during the ceremony, marking the special day with reverence. The event was a lovely way to honor St. Patrick, reflecting the school's values.
The First Friday mass for the students of class XI The First Friday mass for the students of class XII Arts was held on 13th March 2026 in the Presentation Convent Chapel at 11 a.m. The theme for the mass was ‘Faithful stewards in the Lords Vineyard’ and the main celebrant for the mass was Fr. Cranston Vaz (SVD Seminary). In his homily Father said that our journey on this earth is temporary and that we are only stewards in the Lords Vineyard. The mass ended at 11.50 a.m.
